Our water tank....

I made the mistake of making Ryan open up the lid to our water supply yesterday. As many of you know, the water supply in Bermuda is primarily from the rain. The rain runs down the roofs of the houses into holding tanks to be used for everything from flushing toilets to drinking. The water supply at our house can run out if it doesn't rain for days at a time. We have been careful to take quick showers and turn the water off when not using. Anyways, I was intrigued by this and wanted to look at our supply. It was not cool :) Let's just say, I will have to show you when you come to visit! We have been drinking the water and it tastes fine. I trust the Bermudians must know what they are doing.

Today was a beautiful day! Probably is the middle 70's. We went into town for lunch and to buy our new scooters! I have a new Yamaha Jog in royal blue (Big Red, my Pennsylvania scooter would be jealous!) and Ryan got a bigger bike the Yamaha Cygnus. The Cygnus will be our touring bike as it reminds us of a Gold Wing. Haha not even close, but it does have a bigger seat for both of us to ride on. We plan to take the bike out to find some beaches tonight. We want to find the nice beaches and good snorkeling spots for when our family and friends come to visit.

Limerick's foot is better from her accident at the airport. She is no longer a tri-pod and I have finally been able to take her out for walks. We have discovered the Railway trail (http://www.bermuda-online.org/railway.htm) and she loves it. The picture at the top is from the Railway trail. It is so lush and tropical.

Other then that, we are still awaiting our furniture. It was only been a week, but I am really sick of sitting on the floor to use the computer. Really though....no complaints, we are in Bermuda!

Until next time....
